Shipping & Returns


Most items ship within three business days. We will email you to confirm your order and shipping date.

Our international shipping policy is to use standard airmail parcel post (delivery time 3-10 days depending on destination) for smaller, less valuable, durable items and international courier (delivery time 2-7 days) for larger, more valuable, fragile items. You will be given the chance to choose either option during checkout. The standard parcel post service is untracked and untraceable so items are only sent by this method at purchaser's risk. The courier service is tracked and your signature will be required on delivery of your package. Where additional insurance cover is required for the courier service it has been allowed for in the shipping charge quoted during checkout.

Please note that the above delivery times are as advised by New Zealand Post and are only approximate. Time taken to clear customs at country of destination is beyond our control and has not been allowed for. Import taxes, duties and customs clearance costs have not been included in our shipping charges and are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Depending on the items in your order there may be other shipping options available. If you would like us to provide rates for alternative shipping methods please contact us before proceeding with checkout, telling us what items you are interested in and the destination address. We will respond by email, usually within 24 hours.


It is important to us that you are completely happy with your purchase from Kiwi2go. If the item(s) you receive from us are not what you are looking for, please let us know within 7 days of receiving them and return your unwanted item(s) to us in perfect unused condition, with all original packaging, and we will refund your account or exchange the item(s) as required.

All returns are to be sent to: Kiwi2go, PO Box 68, Akaroa, 7542, New Zealand.

We recommend that you return goods by tracked delivery. We will not be responsible for goods that are lost. We will email you to confirm that we have received them.

Refunds will be credited to original method of payment. Once the item(s) have been received by us and your payment refunded you will receive a confirmation email.

Shipping charges are not refundable unless the item is faulty. If original shipping was free of charge then the actual cost to us will be deducted from any refund. All return/exchange shipping charges will be charged to you. If the item(s) are being exchanged, they will be dispatched after payment of shipping charges is received and as soon as the replacement stock is available.

We reserve the right to refuse to accept delivery of items, including faulty items, if we have not been notified in advance that they are being returned to us.

Faulty Returns

Where items are unique all photographs are of the actual work for sale, otherwise photographs are representative so please allow for some variation in colour/grain and/or detail/design. If the item is not what you wanted then let us know and send it back for return/exchange under the terms above.

Please remember that most items sold by Kiwi2go are made by hand, many from natural materials, and this will often be evident in the finished work. We inspect all items for damage and sub-standard workmanship before packaging.

If your item ordered from the website is faulty, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving it and return it to us immediately. Items damaged due to general wear and tear and/or accidental damage will not be accepted for return as faulty.

If the item is found to be faulty, we will refund the purchase price of the item, including all delivery charges. If the item is not found to be faulty, delivery charges will not be refunded.
